Our UK property managers are either Associates or fully qualified Members of the Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM) or training to achieve this qualification.

  • We were the first residential managing agent to introduce electronic banking and a direct link to a major banking organisation
  • Crabtree was the first residential managing agent in the country to have a dedicated mobile site inspector travelling across our portfolio
  • We created and implemented our own bespoke internal training programme for Property Managers several years before the IRPM and ARMA began introducing educational modules for members.
  • In 2015 we became the very first residential managing agent in the country to undergo a double ARMA-Q and RICS audit which we successfully passed
  • We pioneered the introduction of steering committees on new build developments

Crabtree is a corporate member of ARMA, the Association of Residential Managing Agents which exists to monitor and promote the highest standards in professional property management.

We operate in accordance with ARMA Q, ARMA’s self-regulatory regime for managing agents.

Crabtree is also regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and passed a joint ARMA Q/RICS audit in 2015 – further evidence of our compliance with prescribed industry best practice. Crabtree is also a member of the RICS’ Client Money Protection (CMP) scheme, details can be found HERE.

In addition to ARMA & RICS, our property managers are also affiliated to the IRPM – the Institute of Residential Property Management – Crabtree fully supports its property managers in their studies to progress within the Institute.
