The Crabtree Property Group half-yearly update took place on Friday 14th October 2011 and there was plenty of food for thought with five presentations from various key areas of the organisation.
Head of Business Development, John Osborn acted as compere for the event. John confirmed that the theme for the update was innovation and he explained that those speaking would be describing individual efforts to explore new avenues of business open to The Crabtree Group.
Team Leader and Sustainability Officer, George Georgiou updated all present on the progress of his Green Committee. George explained that in the wake of Crabtree’s new carbon neutral status the Green Team was continuing its work by exploring new green services which could be provided to the Group’s clientele.
Tyroan Denny and John Wells made the trip to North London with their fellow colleagues from the Group’s Sales and Lettings arm, Moretons. Mr Denny and Mr Wells provided a little light relief by engaging the audience in a quiz after their presentation, which outlined the current management strategy of the company, specifically their expansion out of Victoria and into Chelsea.
Andy Soteriou, Head of Property Management explained key changes to the Freehold Investment Team including the appointment of two customers service staff.
There was also a presentation made by Joe Mallon, one of the group’s Trainee Property Mangers introducing his reference document - The Estates We Manage. The project provides background information for those new to the industry on the main categories of property dealt with by the Group and will now become an important part of the unique training program itself.
Newly appointed company solicitor James Naylor gave an inspiring presentation introducing the latest innovation by The Crabtree Property Group – Crabtree Law. James briefly outlined how this new company within the organisation would work and described how the Group’s clients would benefit from the new service.
Finally, the group chairman Terry White gave those present an update on the Group’s financial position. Terry explained that the Board expected the Group to meet all its targets for the current financial year.
Terry also introduced Regents Property Consultants, which is expected to go live from 1st April 2012. This new company within the group will be a property consultancy firm that will deal primarily with major works projects for Crabtree Property Management but will also be a service available to the general market.
